A little backstory 

When I first transferred from commerce into design, I was eager to find a creative community where I could share ideas and collaborate on meaningful projects. That’s what led me to join my university’s arts, design, and architecture club. Ironically, despite being a “creative” club, I was the only designer at the time.

I took on the role of both event and marketing officer, planning events while also creating the visual assets to promote them. Back then, the club lacked a clear creative direction, and despite its strong presence on campus, there was an opportunity to reshape and strengthen its identity.

Now, in my final term as club president, my goal is to leave behind a lasting legacy by building a dedicated space for designers and creatives on campus. For students who were once like me in first year, I want to create an outlet where they feel supported, inspired, and part of a thriving creative community.
